Race for Hope by Shangri-La National Event

The Transformation Institute founder, Daniel Perez joined the Executive Committee of Kerry Hotel - Shanghai to guide the team in storytelling rebrand of ‘the Urban Resort’ concept with key brand pillars focused on wellness and family experiences.

The concept successfully entered the market winning numerous awards from local media outlets. The project included the redesign of a state-of-the-art cycle studio, yoga and Pilates studios, aquatics complex, spa, rooftop restaurant, three-story Adventure Zone children’s theme park, and gym spanning over 6,000 square meters.

In 2019-2020, Daniel was also the lead organizer for Shangri-La Hotel Group’s National CSR (corporate social responsibility) initiative as part of the group’s environmental efforts to protect the planet. As the first hospitality company to launch on China’s leading digital platform Alipay’s Ant Forest, Daniel’s execution of the initiative connected 52 hotels across 26 cities encouraging daily participation from guests, colleagues and community members to promote environmental protection and carbon neutral behaviors.
